Our partner farm grows seedlings from seeds and plants them by hand. The workers conduct regular tests throughout the growth cycle of the Patchouli plant to ensure that plants are healthy and growing well leading up to harvest.

Harvesting & Processing

The leaves of the trees are harvested in the late summer months, once they’ve reached full maturity. This ensures that the essential oil content is at its peak. Once gathered, they are dried in batches before being steam distilled to release their essential oil.

Once all the oil has been collected, it’s filtered out before being bottled.
