You’ll need:
- Candle Soy Wax
- Sweet Orange Essential Oil (or try Lemon or Bergamot)
- Amber Glass Jar (8 oz or similar container)
- Cotton Wick (medium size)
- Wick sticker or hot glue
Instructions:
1. Melt your wax in a double boiler. It begins to melt around 128°F, but heat it to 160–180°F until fully liquified.
2. Let it cool to 135–145°F, then add your essential oil at 6–10% of the total wax weight. Stir gently for 1–2 minutes.
3. Pour into jars at 135–145°F for a smooth finish and even fragrance distribution.
4. Allow to cure for 24–48 hours. Trim wick to ¼" before lighting.
Pro tip: Blend a few citrus oils for a more layered and uplifting scent.
