Under the intense heat and sunlight of the region, the water evaporates, leaving behind a concentrated solution of minerals and salts. As the minerals and salts crystallize, sodium chloride (table salt) forms on the top, followed by potassium chloride and magnesium chloride. The Farm collects the dried salt and mineral deposits from the bottom of the ponds using machinery or manual tools. The harvested salt are washed and refined to remove impurities before being packaged for distribution and sale.
